LOOS INTERNATIONAL is one of the leading manufacturers of heating boilers,
hot water boilers and steam boilers in Germany and has produced almost
100,000 boiler systems since the company was founded in 1865 and supplied
them to over 140 countries throughout the world. LOOS manufactures around
1250 boiler systems per year for a wide range of applications.
LOOS INTERNATIONAL boiler systems are built using the tried and tested
three-pass principle. The LOOS INTERNATIONAL range includes three-pass steam
boilers and quick steam generators in a performance range from 80 kg/h to
55,000 kg/h. In addition, LOOS also produces hot water boilers for
capacities up to 38 MW and heating boilers up to 19.2 MW.
The various boiler systems are manufactured in all pressure stages and for
all fuels and can be fitted if required with heat recovery systems to
improve efficiency for all technical heating processes.

The Loos steam generator
Important characteristics of a steam generator are performance per hour,
working gauge pressure in bar, temperature of the medium in °C, efficiency
and the type of fuel.
A LOOS INTERNATIONAL steam generator is either a three-pass steam boiler or
a quick steam generator. The performance range for the three-pass steam
boiler is from 250 to 55,000 kg/h and for the quick steam generator from 80
to 2000 kg/h. LOOS steam boilers produce high-pressure and low-pressure
saturated steam up to 235°C and high-pressure super-heated steam up to
310°C. The various models of boiler are manufactured in all pressure stages
and for all fuels and can be fitted if required with heat recovery systems
to improve the efficiency of the steam generator for all technical heating
processes.
Boiler house modules for the steam generator complete the range. Individual
plant parts and components are correctly dimensioned, matched to each other
and assembled into a ready-to-connect module. In this way, a steam generator
can be very easily planned and extremely rapidly assembled.
